Broadband Provision in Germany
The ITG Expert Committee KT 2 “Communication Networks and Systems” together with its Expert Group “Access and Home-Networks” are holding their 16th ITG Expert Conference from June 07 to 08, 2022 at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute in Berlin.
Traditionally, the conference highlights technical and non-technical aspects of broadband with a focus on the national situation. In the context of the German Federal Government’s broadband infrastructure goals (Digital Strategy 2025), dependencies and synergies between the roll-out concepts of 5G network operators and the general fibre roll-out program are currently of particular interest. Other developments and challenges facing broadband access networks will also be addressed.
At the accompanying exhibition, market players will also find AND experts who will be happy to present the benefits of a software solution for the complete lifecycle of broadband networks – from pre-planning and fine planning to as-built documentation, operations support, and network evolution.
