AND as a service:
ANDhosted
The all-inclusive package from AND – you do your work, we take care of the rest.
ANDhosted: AND SystemSolution in the cloud
ANDhosted is a multi-server architecture consisting of clients, application server, license server, Oracle™ database, back-ups, security, and maintenance.
With everything hosted there are no IT issues to worry about. As access to the AND clients is via Citrix™ XenApp all you require is a stable Internet connection, workstations, suitable monitors, and of course mobile devices for field staff.
AND Solution GmbH retains responsibility for the operation and service management of our applications. We pay close attention to data privacy and data security of the AND application and data. Our customers’ databases including backups will be hosted in Germany adhering strictly to both German and EU regulations.
The cloud solution is at first being aimed mainly at small to medium-sized operators as well as start-up FTTH operators with a special focus on rural broadband initiatives.
With this in mind, we have put a package together. AND StarterPackage Plus comprises the following:
- AND SmartServer (Middleware)
- AND GIsArea (integrated GIS)
- AND WebAccess (interactive access to AND data via Web)
- AND Redliner (redlining functions for AND WebAccess)
- AND PinBoard (Integrated DMS with access & management via client and AND WebAccess)
- AND WMSclient (access to external map sources, e.g., Open Street Map™, Google Maps™, etc.)
AND clients are also required for this. As well as AND license and maintenance costs there are of course the hosted environment costs to be considered. Nevertheless, we believe we can provide a very attractive offering based on an annual usage fee model.
For those who prefer to purchase their AND licenses, especially for capex reasons, this is also possible; previously acquired AND licenses can also be brought to the cloud.
