We participate and get involved

We always try to behave responsibly. Our vehicle fleet is becoming increasingly electric, we’re constantly reducing our consumption of resources, our head office will soon be CO2 neutral and we subsidize the use of public transport for our employees. We also like to organize joint activities, for example in the bouldering hall.

We are also active as members of clubs, associations and the like. Both generally, as in SME associations, and professionally, for example in the traditional German association ANGA, the broadband association e.V. (“Working group for the operation and use of community antenna and distribution systems”), the VATM (“Association of Providers in the Digital and Telecommunications Market“) or the ambitious FTTH Council Europe.

Active participation in specialist events is also part of our commitment to the industry. In addition to ANGACOM and the FTTH Conference, we are also present at fiberdays, specialist gatherings and various broadband forums, for example.

You’ll also regularly find us on the agenda of specialist events with one of our popular and acclaimed presentations. Complex topics and critical audiences don’t scare us.

For many years, AND has also been a training company for IT specialists and office workers. Here, too, we are aware that the best way to enrich ourselves is to get involved in a general way.

We have also demonstrated the importance we attach to quality training by co-founding dibkom (German Institute for Broadband Communication gGmbH). dibkom organizes technical training courses, holds specialist conferences and publishes practical reference works.

In addition, dibkom focuses on qualification courses that are literally recognized. For example, the dibkom certificates on “Connection Networks (Network level 3)” or “Optical Fiber Cable Installation” have become a veritable seal of quality for planners, technicians and complex service providers in network technology.
